Job Description

Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography examinations in a busy academic medical center. The technologist prepares and positions patients, verifies orders and clinical history, explains procedures, operates CT equipment, selects appropriate protocols, administers contrast under established guidelines, and produces diagnostic images for interpretation. Responsibilities include monitoring patients, recognizing and responding to adverse reactions, maintaining accurate documentation, practicing radiation and infection safety, performing quality checks, and collaborating with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and the imaging team. The role supports emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and specialty examinations and requires compassionate communication with diverse patients. Candidates should hold ARRT certification, Maryland eligibility or licensure as applicable, BLS certification, and relevant CT clinical experience. Ability to safely move patients and work assigned shifts is required.

Requirements
