CT Technologist — Outpatient & Inpatient (Weekends)

Location: Duke University Hospital, 2301 Erwin Rd, Durham, NC 27705. Full-time weekend option, Friday–Sunday, 7:00AM–7:30PM, with WEO premium incentive pay. This position is eligible for a $15,000 commitment bonus and $3,000 relocation assistance for those relocating from over 50 miles away. Duke University Health System seeks an experienced or new graduate CT Technologist for an advanced imaging program supporting Trauma, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Cardiac, Oncology, Transplant, Interventional Radiology, Surgical Services, and Urgent Outpatient Care. The CT department operates 20 state-of-the-art scanners across the health system. What you will do: Perform complex tasks associated with CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment in accordance with radiation safety procedures. Position patients, assist radiologists with imaging and interventional CT procedures, start IVs and inject contrast, evaluate scans for technical quality, transmit images to the archive, and orient new CT technologists. Required Qualifications: Graduate of a program meeting registry/certification eligibility. Certification in Radiography (R), Radiation Therapy (T), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), or CNMT. CT registration required within 18 months of employment. BLS certification. Level II requires a minimum of two years' CT technologist experience.
