Responsibilities As a Mammography Technologist in the Women’s Breast Center, you will be vital in early breast cancer detection, performing high-quality mammographic imaging with precision and compassion. Every day you will expertly operate equipment, meticulously position patients, ensure comfort, perform quality control, and maintain accurate records. You will collaborate with radiologists and adhere to safety and regulatory standards for comprehensive breast health. Additional expectations include demonstrating knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care; performing procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with radiologist expectations and protocols; complying with National Patient Safety Goals; supporting and reporting identified compliance matters; participating in hospital and department quality assurance programs; and maintaining professional development and education for technical competency. This is a full-time day shift role (80 hours per pay period) in the Women’s Breast Center. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology upon hire. Medical Radiographer: KY upon hire. Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT upon hire. Basic Life Support – CPR upon hire. Current mammography certification, strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate patient-care approach are essential for success in this role.
