Job Description
Providence Alaska Medical Center is looking for a talented MRI Technologist to join our advanced imaging department in Anchorage, Alaska. You will operate MRI equipment, screen patients for safety, and produce diagnostic-quality images.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI scanners using appropriate sequences and protocols
- Screen patients for MRI safety contraindications
- Administer gadolinium contrast agents as prescribed
- Optimize imaging parameters for diagnostic quality
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- State licensure required
- BLS/CPR certification
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
- 2-5 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and positioning
