MRI Technologist - North Hollywood

As the MRI Technologist you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This requires an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. Support all imaging centers staffed by our organization while maintaining high accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition. Apply magnetic field safety knowledge and screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate processing of radiology orders, maintaining up-to-date procedure records, operating post-processing/3D workstations, accurate image archival, administering paramagnetic contrast media, and sensitively handling patient needs. Schedule: Monday–Friday 2:30pm–11:00pm. Fully on-site in North Hollywood, CA. Qualifications: ARRT and CRT with MR certificate, or ARRT and ARMRIT (MR); BCLS from AHA or Red Cross; graduate of an AMA Radiologic Technologist Program preferred; venipuncture certificate and one year MRI experience preferred; Siemens experience preferred. Rotate to all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health. Salary: $55.38–$73.00 hourly.
