Job Description

UAMS Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Little Rock, Arkansas. You will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol
  • Operate gamma cameras, SPECT, and PET/CT equipment
  • Perform quality control on imaging equipment and radiopharmaceuticals
  • Ensure radiation safety and proper waste disposal
  • Process and evaluate nuclear medicine images

Requirements

  • ARRT certification required
  • State licensure required
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
  • 2-5 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and positioning
