Job Description
OHSU is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Portland, Oregon. You will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol
- Operate gamma cameras, SPECT, and PET/CT equipment
- Perform quality control on imaging equipment and radiopharmaceuticals
- Ensure radiation safety and proper waste disposal
- Process and evaluate nuclear medicine images
Requirements
- ARRT certification required with advanced certification preferred
- State licensure required
- BLS/CPR certification
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in specialized modality
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
