Job Description
UT Southwestern Medical Center is looking for a Radiation Therapist to join our oncology team in Dallas, Texas. You will administer prescribed radiation treatments and provide compassionate care to cancer patients.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments per physician prescription
- Operate linear accelerators and treatment planning systems
- Verify patient positioning using image-guided techniques
- Monitor patients for treatment side effects
- Participate in treatment planning and quality assurance
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- State licensure required
- BLS/CPR certification
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
- 2-5 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and positioning
