Job Description
Hackensack Meridian Health is hiring a Sonographer for our imaging department in Edison, New Jersey. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and provide preliminary findings to radiologists.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations (abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, MSK)
- Evaluate anatomy and pathology using ultrasound techniques
- Provide preliminary sonographic findings to reading physicians
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and transducers
- Stay current with ARDMS standards and best practices
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- State licensure required
- BLS/CPR certification
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
- 2-5 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and positioning
